Secret Santa!

Just want to say thank you to my "Secret" Santa. I had been floundering in the wind on the 6mm Maurice project but these Baccus figures have given me the drive needed. Soon I will be putting up posts about my (semi) Imagination, the Independant Duchy of Lolland.

Thank you Ian and Cath for making this a reality and I will most definitely be taking part next year again. I'm also excited that my gift reached the recipient and by the looks of it they are ecstatic! On top of that the supplier who I went through was most generous in throwing in freebies.

PS: There was a note in my order revealing who my "Secret" Santa was.

  1. The same thing happened in the note I received from Baccus with my Secret Santa gift. That said, it was still awesome. Merry Christmas

  2. Glad you liked it, I got mine from Baccus but they did not reveal who it was from. Not that I have any issue with the giver coming out in the open.

Hope you had a great day, I am VERY happy with the responce and expect it to be even bigger next year.

    1. First of MANY new projects for the new year! My budget for miniatures is bigger this year than I thought it would be and I will be starting 3-4 projects of varying sizes with varying goals.

By the way I wanted to ask about a head you used on one of your conversions from your most recent post, the long haired fellow leading a charge with his helmet in his hand, where is that head from?

    2. It's a Wargames Factory Saxon head. Wargames Factory make lovely heads, best part of the kits, and i have a ton spare. I could always send you some, if i have some you want.

    3. Oh cool! I have war games factory Vikings and I don't like them except for the heads. Maybe I'll play around with them a bit.

    1. Thanks, same to you. I'm rather excited for the new year. I'll have a number of speed painting projects under way in order to get forces on the table but one will be a bit more just than colours+ink as I want them to stand out and it is a smaller force so it won't take too long. Lastly I will be starting a project purely for me to develop better my painting skills.
